Dr. Jasmin Kubavat is currently designated at the position of Campus Coordinator at NFSUAcademy – Pune (National Forensic Sciences University –Pune Campus). With over 15 yearsof experience in teaching and research, Dr. Kubavat is among the senior faculty members ofthe university. He has been an eminent part of the university since October, 2009 and hasworked for another recognized institution prior to that.
Dr. Kubavat holds a degree of Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from RGUHSBangalore and a subsequent Doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Science from NationalForensic Sciences University Gandhinagar. He is an exceptionally trained Pharmacologistand Forensic Toxicology investigator; He is academician and administrator with an admirabletrack record of teaching, as well as educational and administrative reforms.
Dr. Kubavat has been trained in animal handling and preclinical research. He has so farpublished and presented more than 25 articles in distinguished & highly reputed national andinternational journals and conferences. His research thrust areas mainly includeCardiovasular Pharmacology, nanotoxicology, food forensics and Nanobiosensors. He is anexceedingly experienced researcher with strong research focus on developing novelnanomaterial based devices for forensic investigative research with a primary focus ondeveloping sensors of various bio-markers and Narcotic drugs’. He is a Recognized ResearchGuide for PhD students and distinguished academic supervisor at the National ForensicSciences University, supervised more than 50 Post Graduate students for Master’s degreedissertation projects. He recently received Start-up grants for his two Start-ups and alsoinvolved in providing research consultancy service to industries and Governmentorganizations as well.
Dr. Kubavat is an esteemed member of boards, committees and councils at various levels. Heis a Member Secretary of IAEC by Nominated by CPCSEA, Delhi and Member Secretary ofBoS for Faculty of Pharmacy, NFSU, Gandhinagar. He is also deemed an active member ofBoF SPH, NFSU and Central Purchase Committee, Former Member of SSIP Committee,Former Co-ordinator of Examination Affairs. SPH, NFSU, Gandhinagar. He has alsocontributed as a coordinator and member in various national and international conferences,seminars and events.
