Dr. Pratik S. Patel is an Associate Professor at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, India, with extensive academic, research, and professional experience in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Information Technology and has more than 15 years of teaching experience, along with significant experience in cybersecurity and forensic investigations.
His areas of expertise include Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Mobile Forensics, Malware Analysis, Incident Response, Cybercrime Investigation, and Forensic Technology. His research interests focus on emerging challenges in digital investigations, cybersecurity, forensic analysis, and the application of advanced technologies to strengthen cybercrime investigations.
Dr. Patel has been actively involved in academic teaching, research, professional training, and capacity-building programs for students, law-enforcement personnel, and other professionals. He has contributed to research and technology-oriented projects, including initiatives supported under the MeitY-sponsored ISEA program. He is also certified in Oxygen Forensics and has professional training in Laboratory Management Systems and Internal Auditing as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL standards.
Through his academic and professional activities, Dr. Patel continues to contribute to cybersecurity education, digital forensic research, and the development of skilled professionals for addressing emerging cyber threats
