Ms. Mrinmayee Kale is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Forensic Science from NFSU Gandhinagar. She has published research papers in UGC care and Scopus-indexed journals. She graduated in Forensic Science from the Institute of Forensic Science Mumbai and completed her master's in forensic science from the same institution. She has previously done her certificate course in Criminalistics and Forensic Science from St. Xavier's Autonomous Mumbai and a certificate course in Crime Reporting from MMPS. She worked as Jr Scientist in one of the renowned Forensic Science Laboratory in Mumbai (2014-2016) wherein she handled cases regarding questioned documents and assisted in polygraph or lie detector investigation, cyber forensic division, and arson investigation. Later she worked as an administrative production head in Gaon Majha Broadcast Ltd and as a Casual News presenter in Doordarshan Sahyadri for the Live program of Krishivarta. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served in a well-known Rheumatology clinic under the guidance of Dr. K. Bhojani and also assisted in data management. She played nationals and represented the state of Maharashtra in Yoga and badminton. Represented district in state-level competition for mallakhamb, and relay and has multiple achievements in chess, carrom, and table tennis in intercollegiate competitions. She secured runners-up in a state-level elocution competition. Her interest in performing arts has developed a skilled anchor for her by hosting many shows in Mumbai. Her research interest lies in the field of questioned documents, Forensic physics, and ballistics.
