Dr. Himanshu Thakkar is a keen researcher and innovative academician with a doctorate degree in Business and Management. He is an assistant professor of Forensic Accounting in the School of Management Studies, National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He holds a B. Com and M. Com in Accountancy from Ashvinbhai A Patel Commerce College, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya. He cleared UGC NET Commerce (LS) in June 2019 and GSET in December 2018. He has cumulative and diversified experience of approximately 9 years in research, industry and education. He had been associated as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar. He has served as an Assistant Professor at institutions like Rashtriya Raksha University, Institute of Advanced Research, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, and Nav Gujarat Commerce College. Earlier, he was associated with the General Manager of projects, Gujarat Maritime Board and served as a Senior Executive (Specialist). His thrust research areas include Forensic Accounting, Fraud Investigations, Industrial Clusters and Business Membership Organizations. He has published numerous research articles in reputed journals and presented papers at national and international conferences. He is a Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and Universities Commerce and Management Teachers Association. Apart from teaching and Learning, He has undertaken various administrative roles and responsibilities. He was a Vigilance Officer at Rashtriya Raksha University, Placement Coordinator at Ashvinbhai A Patel Commerce College, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, etc. He has been involved in bringing new ideas and initiatives for the development of professional competency and organization as a whole.
