Dr Rakesh Yadav has completed his UG and PG from Guru Jambheshwer University, Haryana in the year 2003 & 2005 respectively. He has qualified GATE 2003 examination conducted by IIT, Madras and is recipient of AICTE fellowship during his post-graduation. He has been awarded PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Panjab University, Chandigarh in the year 2011 and received ICMR open fellowship during the PhD programme at Panjab University, Chandigarh. During his PhD tenure, he has been awarded several grants from national and international bodies to attend the meetings at Israel, Switzerland, Malaysia, Italy, Argentina etc. He has published ~ 50 publications so far and completed 2 projects awarded by UGC & ICMR, New Delhi. He is also the recipient of National Scholarship of Slovakia and Newton Bhabha grant. Dr Yadav has supervised 12 PhD and 25 PG thesis as on date in the area of pharmaceutical sciences. His area of research includes the synthesis and evaluation of NCEs pertaining to cancer, asthma, neurodegenerative disorders etc.
