About
Dr. Rajesh Singh Yadav is working as an Associate Professor
in the School of Forensic Science, National Forensic Sciences University,
Bhopal since August 2022. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Department of
Criminology and Forensic Science at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central
University), Sagar (MP), India from 2013 to 2022. Dr. Yadav did his Master’s in
Forensic Science and received his Ph.D. degree in Toxicology from Jamia Hamdard
(Hamdard University) New Delhi, India and CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research,
Lucknow, India during the period of 2012.
His research work is focused on to the effect of
environmental toxicants and pesticides on the neurobehavioral toxicity of
individuals. He has presented his work on various National and International platforms
and based on this research and training he has received several awards and
honors including Jyotsnamoyee - Raghunath Bhattacharya Young Scientist Prize by
the Indian Academy of Neurosciences, India in 2009 , University
of Minnesota Research Excellence Award by the Society of Toxicology, India in
2010, Travel Awards for excellent presentation at Neuroscience 2011 organized
by the Japan Neuroscience Society at Yokohama, Japan, Congress Travel Award by
IAPRD at Sanghai, China in 2011 and International
Brain Research Organization (IBRO) Travel Fellowship at Taiyuan, China in 2011, Best
Student Poster Presentation Award at the joint meeting of APSN and JSN at Kobe,
Japan in 2012, ISN-APSN-IBRO Travel Fellowship by IBRO at Osaka University,
Osaka, Japan in 2012, Professor R. Nath Memorial Travel Award by Indian Academy
of Neurosciences, India, Melvin Yahr Travel Award by IAPRD at Geneva,
Switzerland to present his work in 2013.
Dr.
Yadav has completed two Research Projects awarded to him from UGC, New Delhi and DST-SERB, New Delhi in 2016 and 2018. He has
successfully guided 01 Ph.D. student under his supervision. Dr. Yadav has published
35 research papers in International Journals, 2 books and 7 chapters in book. He
is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Forensic
Toxicology and Medicine, expert Reviewers for journals like Human and
Experimental Toxicology, Toxicology International, Journal of Clinical
Biochemistry etc.
He is a member of various scientific organizations
including – Indian Academy of Neurosciences, India, Society of Toxicology,
India, Uttar Pradesh Association of Science and Technology Advancement,
Lucknow, India, Forensic Science Development Society (FSDS), Lucknow, India, European
Society for Medical Oncology, Europe, International Behavioral Neuroscience
Society, International Society for Neurochemistry, Asian Pacific Society for
Neurochemistry, International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), France and
Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS), Japan.
