Dr Neha Tomar is currently
serving the National Forensic Science University, Delhi Campus, Ministry of
Home Affairs in a capacity of an Assistant Professor. She is an ingenious
academician and ardent researcher holding 12 years of rich experience. She has
been awarded her doctorate in Forensic Science with a specialisation in
Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology.
Dr Tomar has completed 30 hours
of training on the Novel Psychoactive substances. She has published several
research papers in peer-reviewed journals of international repute. She has also
delivered invited talks and Guest lectures at reputed organisations like Delhi
Police Academy, Rajinder Nagar, Delhi on the subject matter of Forensic
Science. Besides her academic and research credentials, she holds a green belt
in Lean Six Sigma and is also a trained expert in Forensic Facial
Reconstruction using -3D techniques. She is an active member of reputed
societies such as the Indian Science Congress, the Indian Society of
Criminology, and the International Society on Emerging Drugs. Dr Tomar is
currently engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students,
research, and training activities of NFSU, Delhi Campus.
