Dr. Ajit Muzumdar currently
working as Assistant Professor & Placement Head at School of Cyber Security
and Digital Forensics, National Forensic Sciences University Delhi, An
Institute of National Importance, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Dr. Ajit Ashok Muzumdar received
the B.E. (Information Technology) and M.E. (Computer Engineering) degrees from
the University of Pune in 2008 and 2013, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree
from the National Institute of Technology Goa in 2022 for his thesis on
“Designing a Blockchain‑Enabled Smart Grid Energy Management System.”
He has served as an Assistant
Professor since 2010, including roles at Sanjivani College of Engineering
(2010–2017), where he taught and supervised projects in cybersecurity, blockchain,
and machine learning. He also worked as TRA at National Forensic Sciences
University Goa for 18 months. In 2024 he appointed as HOD, Cyber Security
Department, School of Engineering & Technology, Sanjivani University. (2024
-2025).
Dr. Muzumdar’s research focuses
on blockchain for cyber‑physical systems, smart grid security, privacy‑preserving
energy systems, and machine learning for load forecasting. He is the author
and coauthor of multiple peer‑reviewed articles in high‑impact journals such as
Journal of Network and Computer Applications, IEEE Systems Journal,
Journal of Cleaner Production, and Electric Power Systems Research,
and has published surveys on blockchain usage in digital evidence handling. His
work bridges theoretical foundations and practical implementations, with
emphasis on secure, trustworthy architectures and applied ML solutions for
energy and forensic applications.
He has delivered technical
lectures, practical workshops, and industry–academia panels, with sessions
adaptable for undergraduate students through industry professionals.
