Biography:
Sandeep Munjal was born in Rajasthan,
India. He received bachelor in science from Bikaner University, India, and then
he moved to University of Rajasthan, Jaipur for Masters studies in Physics. He
cracked CSIR JRF, and GATE exams and joined IIT Delhi (One of the top QS Ranked
institutes) in July 2013 for pursuing PhD degree. He received PhD degree under
the supervision of Prof. N. Khare, and published a number of good quality
research articles and he was awarded PhD Degree in Nov. 2018. He joined
Nanoscale Research Facility as Sr. Project Scientist (IIT Delhi) and worked there
in the field of Memory Device fabrication for 2 years. His research proposal on
the “Fabrication of Artificial Synapses for Brain Inspired Neuromorphic
Computing” was accepted by SERB, DST (Gov. of India) for PDF Grant. He worked
as Post-Doc Fellow in the collaboration of University of Delhi and Miranda
House (NIRF ranking #1) and gained extensive experience in the field of Neuromorphic
Computing. Since July 2022, he is appointed as an Assistant Professor at the National
Forensic Sciences University, Goa campus.
