SWETA NIDHI is an assistant professor in the Department of Forensics Sciences, National Forensic Sciences, Goa Campus. She has 5 years of teaching experience in the field of Forensic Biology & Biotechnology. She has served two years as Assistant Professor in Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi. She has completed her doctoral studies on an scholarship received from Aix-Marseille University, France. Her thesis study includes studying the defense system of the microorganisms. Her academic interests focus on studying the genomes of the microorganisms using insilico and invivo techniques. Her area of interests and specialisations are Genomics, Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology. Additionally, she has been actively involved in sports and is currently in-charge of the Sports and Cultural Committee and International Cell in the University. Her strengths are Proactive and Adaptive in nature, Understands the value of responsibility, Excellent team-work spirit, Dedicated towards work, Leadership Qualities.
