ANIL S NAIK received the B.E degree in Electronics
and Communication Engineering from Basaveshwar Engineering College
(Visvesvaraya Technological University-VTU Belgaum, Karnataka), Bagalkot,
Karnataka, India, in 2009, and the M.Tech degree in Information Technology from
AMC Engineering College, Bangalore, Karnataka, India (Visvesvaraya
Technological University-VTU Belgaum, Karnataka), in 2012.

From 2012 to 2021, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology at Walchand Institute of Technology (WIT) in Solapur, Maharashtra, India. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, India, in 2024, with research focusing on the implementation of IoT with LoRa/LoRaWAN-based wireless communication systems for monitoring environmental parameters in underground mines. His research interests span Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Software Engineering, Software Testing, and Educational Technology.
He has published 20 papers in international
and national journals, book chapters, and conferences. He received
"Inspire Faculty Excellence Awards 2016" By Infosys
Ltd in the event of "Content Guru" and "Use
of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning" by the Indian
Institute of Technology Bombay and was conferred an "Award of
Excellence" sponsored by SAP India Pvt.
