Dr. Ravinder Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the National Forensic Sciences University (An Institution of National Importance), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, in the School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay after completing his M.Sc. (Physics) at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana, and his M.Tech. Microelectronics at Panjab University, Chandigarh. He was also qualified for the CSIR NET (2012), CSIR NET-JRF (2014), and GATE (2009, 2010) in Physics. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, and at JCD Memorial College, Sirsa, Haryana. His research interests include Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE)-grown III–V semiconductor nanostructures and the fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices. He has so far published nine articles in international journals and fifteen articles at international conferences. He has been a member of the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) since 2019. He has experience spanning over 11 years, including five years in doctoral research and one year in industry.
