Dr Tilak Ram is serving as an
Assistant Professor of Forensic Science at the School of Forensic Science, National
Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Delhi Campus. He earned his PhD from Rani
Durgavati University, Jabalpur; an M.Sc. in Forensic Science from Dr Harisingh
Gour Central University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh; and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Forensic
Science from Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
His academic and professional
expertise spans Crime Scene Management, General Forensics, Forensic Physics and
Ballistics. With over 5 years of teaching experience at reputable institutions,
he has contributed significantly to research, authoring more than 11 papers in
well-regarded peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Tilak Ram has further
enriched the field through three patents and five book chapters published with
Springer Nature. He is actively engaged in research mentorship and has guided
numerous M.Sc. and B.Sc. dissertations. He qualified for the UGC-NET JRF SRF
examination in 2013.
In addition to his academic
contributions, he has served on juries at international and national
conferences, delivered expert lectures in various national and international
Faculty Development Programmes, and conducted training for Scientific Officers,
Medical Professionals, and police personnel from Arunachal Pradesh, Guwahati,
Assam, and Delhi. He has also contributed to interdisciplinary education by
conducting specialised sessions for forensic nursing students. I have conducted
various departmental programmes, such as FDP, Police Visit, and Student Visit,
at NFSU Delhi Campus and NPM.
