Commandant Devansh Trivedi, TM (Retd) has served with the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) for over 30 years and has served on various ships and units. He is a Gunnery & Missiles specialist and a qualified Hovercraft pilot. He has commanded an Inshore Patrol Vessel, a Hovercraft Squadron, a Chain of Static Sensors unit of Coastal Surveillance Network and a Central Store Depot of the ICG. He has been part of various conflict and HADR operations and has participated in numerous international assistance by the ICG including goodwill visits. He has undergone deputation at the United States Coast Guard Training Centre, Yorktown for Seaport Security and Antiterrorism programme. Comdt Devansh Trivedi has served in a wide diaspora for matters relating to the National Security including the Maritime Security construct. The officer has been awarded ‘Tatrakshak Medal’ by the Hon’ble President of India in 2016 for conspicuous service to the Nation. He has also been awarded commendation cards by the Director General Indian Coast Guard and Commander-in-Chief Andaman & Nicobar Command.
Comdt Devansh Trivedi has a MSc degree in Naval Weapons from Cochin University of Science and Technology and has been Consultant at the Centre for Border Management and Intelligence Studies at the Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar.
