About
Dr Poonam Gupta has the academic experience of more than 6 years. She has been associated with National Forensic Science University as an Assistant Professor, since January 2022. She has done her Ph.D. in Bioremediation (Environmental Biotechnology). She was granted the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF (and SRF) and was among the top 20% of NET awardees in the calendar year, hence qualified for the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee fellowship test. She has published research papers in various peer reviewed national and international journals. She has experience in various fields related to Biotechnology including-Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Microbiology and Environmental Biotechnology.
Dr Poonam envisions to establish her research in field of Environmental forensics, Metagenomics and Plant genomics.
