Dr. Hardi Mendpara is an Assistant Professor of Forensic Dentistry at National Forensic Sciences University, where she has been since 2020. She also possesses teaching experience in the courses on Forensic Science, Toxicology and Nursing. From 2014 to 2016, she served as an Associate Doctor in Dental Hospital at Jamnagar. She also possesses experience as a Medical Analyst in Medusind Solutions India Pvt Ltd from 2018 to 2020. She Received Bachelor of Dentistry from Gujarat University in 2013, and M.SC Forensic Odontology from Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) 2018.
Dr. Hardi has been awarded ‘Double Gold Medals’ by National Forensic Sciences University (Formerly known as GFSU), one Gold Medal for the most meritorious student and another “Laxmi memorial Gold award for the most meritorious female student.” She is pursuing Ph.D under the faculty of Forensic Science in NFSU with specialisation in Forensic Dentistry.
Her Research Interest focuses on Human Identification, Dental age estimation, Forensic Pathology and Forensic Anthropology. Much of her research work has been on Human Identification, mainly through the application of Forensic Dental Histology and chemistry. She also organized workshops, symposium and conclave on Forensic Odontology in collaboration with GDCH. In addition, she is also volunteering in NGOs for the ‘Women Empowerment’ in local communities as a part of Community Service.
