The Gandhinagar campus of the National Forensic Sciences University offers a 2-Year Post-Graduation in Forensic Psychology. The curriculum is structured in a way that would expose students to the modern developments in the application of scientific methods in Forensic Psychology. The course aims to acquaint students with the investigative processes of the criminal justice system, build an understanding of the elements involved in crime and thereby employ the skills of forensic investigation from the psychological point of view. The program is designed in a way to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skill set to perform efficiently in various governmental agencies related to the Criminal Justice System and to work in various private sector organizations and deal with issues under the broad umbrella of Forensic Psychology. Forensic Psychology is an interdisciplinary field with its specialty in professional psychology and primarily intends to provide psychological expertise in the legal and judicial system. At NFSU we give special emphasis on furnishing students with the best resources to learn and also train them to impart the principles of Forensic Psychology within the judicial system.
