Department of Forensic Sciences

The Department of Forensic Sciences at National Forensic Sciences University, Raipur Campus, is dedicated to delivering high-quality forensic education supported by scientific learning, practical exposure, and research-driven training. As part of the world’s only university exclusively focused on forensic sciences and allied fields, the department provides an academic environment that blends modern investigation techniques with real-world applications.

The department currently offers specialized programmes such as the Professional Diploma in Crime Scene Management and M.Sc. Forensic Science, designed to build strong technical and analytical skills required for crime scene investigation, laboratory work, and evidence examination.

Recognising the increasing demand for skilled forensic professionals, the department is expanding its academic offerings.

From the upcoming academic session, B.Sc. Forensic Science and additional M.Sc. Forensic Science programmes will be introduced, giving students a complete academic pathway from undergraduate to postgraduate level within the same campus.

Supported by experienced faculty members, students are engaged through state-of-the-art laboratory sessions, field exercises, real-time demonstrations, internships, and guided research projects.
