The Department of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics at National Forensic Sciences University, Raipur Campus, is shaping the future of digital defence by equipping learners with the skills needed to counter emerging cyber threats in an increasingly interconnected world. As an integral part of the world’s only university dedicated to forensic sciences, cyber security, and allied domains, the department brings together advanced technology, research-driven learning, and hands-on cyber investigation training.
The department currently offers M.Sc. Digital Forensics and Information Security, a specialized programme designed to develop expertise in cyber incident response, network forensics, digital evidence recovery, malware analysis, and cybercrime investigation. Students gain experience through real-time simulations and exposure to industry-standard tools used globally in cyber defence and digital forensics.
In response to the evolving cyber security landscape and the growing demand for highly trained professionals, the department is set to broaden its academic offerings. From the upcoming academic session, the Department will launch an Integrated B.Tech–M.Tech in Cyber Security along with a new M.Sc. in Cyber Security, allowing students to pursue advanced technical knowledge through a seamless and structured academic progression.
