Dr. G. Rajesh Babu - Dean, School of Medico-Legal Studies and Dr. Vijay Shah - Advisor, National Forensic Sciences University were invited as Guests of Honour for the National Conference on "Explore Latest CHallenges, Innovation and Advancement in Nursing Education" organized by Govt. College of Nursing Surat on 29th April 2023. Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Hon'ble Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare of India was the Chief Guest wherein she mentioned the significance of forensic science and its role in nursing education. Dr. Dileep Kumar - President of the Indian Nursing Council has declared that there is a budgetary allocation for the training of the trainers' program on medico-legal practices among nursing professionals and teachers of the entire country which will be handled by the National Forensic Sciences University. The faculty members, and M.Sc. Forensic Nursing students also participated and had an interactive session with speakers and delegates.
