Foster + Freeman, UK signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on Friday to promote academic, research and training activities in the field of Forensic Sciences, especially in the area of Fingerprint and Question Documents. The MoU was signed by Mr. Simon King - Chief Commercial Officer, Foster + Freeman, UK and Prof. (Dr.) S. O. Junare - Director, NFSU, Gujarat Campus in the presence of Mr. Stephen Hickling - British Deputy High Commissioner - Gujarat and Rajasthan and Dr. J.M. Vyas - Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, NFSU. The MoU has been signed with the purpose to facilitate the advancement of collaborative activities in the field of forensic sciences in the country and abroad that shall transform into a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the field of Physical Forensics and Crime Scene Investigation. Other officials from the British High Commission - Amee Raninga - Political Advisor, British Deputy High Commission and Ms. Shivani Garkal - Trade Advisor, UK DSE, British High Commission, New Delhi; representatives from Foster+Freeman and NFSU officials - Shri. C.D. Jadeja - Executive Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary - Director - International and Training, Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal - Director, Academic, Research and Consultancy, Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Dean, School of Forensic Science, and other officers were also present.
