The School of Cyber Security & Digital Forensic, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) has organized a one day workshop on “Industry 4.0: Best Practices & Cyber Security Landscape in India” in association with NASSCOM CoE – IoT & AI on 23rd June, 2023. The main agenda of this workshop was to address “Issues & Challenges in Implementation of Industry 4.0 & Cyber Security Landscape in India” along with identification of its potential solutions. In this event, we have invited global leaders in the field of Cyber Security from the Industrial sector, Defence Sector and PSUs. Dr. J. M. Vyas sir, Vice Chancellor, NFSU delivered presidential address following by welcome address by Dr. S.O. Junare, Campus Director, Gandhinagar Campus, NFSU. Many prominent experts have delivered their addresses like, Prof. (Dr.) S.S. Iyenger, Florida International University (FIU), USA, Shri. Amit Saluja, Senior Director & Centre Head, NASSCOM CoE – IoT & AI, Shri. Anil Kumar Anisetti, Founder , eSF Labs Ltd., Shri. Kalpesh Shah, CISO, Corporate Pharma Company, Shri. Shridhar Sharma, Manager IT Infra and Security, Marico Limited; Shri. Shekhar Wankhede, Manager –Digitization & Automation, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., Shri. Sapan Majmundar, Director, Hemtech Industries, along with Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Dean, School of Cyber Securityand Digital Forensics & Dr. Digvijaysinh Rathod, Associate Dean, School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from NFSU, Gandhinagar. This event was coordinated by Dr. Ujjaval Patel, Assistant Professor, SCSDF, NFSU & Shri. Yagndeep Gohil, Startup Engagement Lead, NASSCOM CoE – IoT & AI and organizing committee of NFSU. More than 100 distinguished cyber security professionals and students of NFSU have taken active participation in this event. The experts have delivered their addresses on current hotspots in the field of Industry 4.0. The main topics include: Role of Digitization in the Era of Industry 4.0 Cyber Security Strategy & its Implementation in the Era of Industry 4.0 Best Practices for Implementation of Industry 4.0 Roadmap towards secured digital deployments of Industry 4.0 A Start-up Showcase and visit to Centre of Excellence – Cyber Security, NFSU were also organized. Around 8 startup entrepreneurs have demonstrated their products and services to all our distinguished guests. This event is exclusively designed to create a mutual platform for experts and the public to come together and share knowledge on the most pertinent issues from the world of cyber security in alignment to “Digital India Mission” of India with direct benefits to the society and nation at large.
