Uttarakhand Forensic Science Laboratory, Dehradun signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 6th July, 2023 to promote academic, research and training activities. The MoU was signed by Mr. Amit Kumar Sinha, Addl. DG/Director, FSL, Uttarakhand and Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar. Mr. Amit Kumar Sinha, Addl. DG/Director, FSL, Uttarakhand appreciated the research and development work, training and consultancy work being carried out by NFSU in various branches of Forensic Science and allied subjects under the dynamic leadership of Dr. J.M. Vyas. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar Campus welcomed the dignitaries. Air Commodore K.R. Thakaar, Dean, School of Police Science & Security Studies, NFSU briefed the dignitaries on various activities of the National Forensic Sciences University and its capabilities including academic, training, research & development, and consultancy. Dr. S.K. Sharma, Joint Director, FSL-Uttarakhand and Dr. M.K.Agrawal, Dy.Director, FSL-Uttarakhand also visited Centre of Excellences and Laboratories of Cyber Security; Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances; Investigative and Forensic Psychology; Ballistics Research Centre & Testing Range etc. During the signing of MoU, Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director-NFSU-Gandhinagar; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director-NFSU-Delhi; Air Commodore Kedar Thakaar, Dean, School of Police Science & Security Studies, NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Dean, School of Forensic Science, Prof. (Dr.) Prasenjit Maity, Dean-School of Engineering & Technology; Dr. G. Rajesh Babu, Dean-School of Forensic Science; Dr. Parag Rughani, Dean, School of Open Learning; Dr. Malay Shukla, Assistant Professor-NFSU; Mr. Mrunal Pandya, Dy.Registrar-NFSU and other officers were also present.
