National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026. Padma Shri Awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, hoisted the National Flag at the Gandhinagar Campus. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU‑Gandhinagar, and Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar, NFSU, were present on the dais. NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers of the University participated in an impressive march‑past, showcasing patriotism and discipline. Patriotic songs and dance performances were also presented by NFSU students and staff. Padma Shri Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU‑Gandhinagar, paid homage to freedom fighters and echoed the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of Viksit Bharat and Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2047. The patriotic rendition of Vande Mataram marked 150 years, symbolizing India’s unity and devotion to the motherland. Dr. J.M. Vyas urged the youth to achieve both physical and psychological independence, stressing their vital role in nation‑building. He warned against threats such as 'Narco‑Terror', 'Cyber‑Terror', and 'Counterfeit‑Note Terror' that endanger the nation’s future. Highlighting the strength of 'Yuva Shakti' through knowledge and expertise. NFSU remains committed to serving the nation with unwavering patriotism and purpose. Deans, Associate Deans, Faculty Members, staff, and students were present on the occasion of the Flag Hoisting Ceremony.
