Maj Gen Mukesh Kumar Bhanwala, IG (Operations), NSG Headquarters, visited NFSU Gandhinagar, for an engaging interaction focused on strengthening institutional collaboration and exploring new avenues for partnership in the field of national security. The visit included discussions with the top leadership of NFSU, led by Prof. (Dr.) S.O Junare, Campus Director, Gandhinagar Campus. followed by a tour of the University’s major Centres of Excellence. The deliberations explored potential areas of engagement, knowledge exchange, capacity building and joint initiatives that can contribute to India’s evolving national security ecosystem. The Maj-Gen was received by Prof. (Dr.) Akshat Mehta, Dean SPSSS who made the NFSU presentation highlighting existing collaboration with the NSG and other achievements of the University. The visit reaffirmed the importance of bringing together specialised operational expertise and academic, technological and research capabilities to address emerging security challenges. NFSU looks forward to building on these discussions and charting a meaningful way forward with the National Security Guard.
