The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academia–industry collaboration, academic excellence, research, professional training, technology-driven innovation, and capacity building in the field of construction and infrastructure. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. (Dr.) S. O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar, and Dr. P. R. Swarup, Director General & Secretary, CIDC. Dr. P. S. Rana, Chairman, CIDC, along with the Deans and distinguished members from both institutions, were also present. The MoU provides a strategic framework for NFSU and CIDC to collaborate in joint research, knowledge exchange, specialized training, skill development, and technology-driven innovation, strengthening the academia–industry interface and creating opportunities for students, researchers, faculty, and industry professionals in the construction and technology sectors. It will also contribute to developing skilled human resources capable of addressing contemporary challenges in infrastructure, construction, engineering and allied domains. The MoU will promote innovation, knowledge exchange, and capacity building, thereby contributing to the advancement of engineering, professional education, and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
