A delegation from the Embassy Of Israel In India led by H.E. Mr. Naor Gilon, the Ambassador of Israel to India, visited National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 3rd October, 2023. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor, NFSU welcomed the delegation with a bouquet and stole, and presented NFSU memento. Air Commodore K.R. Thaakar, Dean, School of Police Science & Security Studies, gave a detailed briefing about wide-ranging activities of NFSU with a presentation and short video highlighting the academics, research, training, consultancy, investigations and international collaboration. The delegation further explored details of the activities with a view to collaborate with the university. Dr. J.M. Vyas enlightened the delegation with the potential of each of the activities, especially the manner in which Forensic Science and associated subjects could contribute in national security and crime prevention. Mr. Naor Gilon, H.E. Ambassador of Israel, expressed happiness on the role and growth of the university and called NFSU an amazing institution. In the end, Dr. J.M. Vyas presented mementos to the delegation members. During the meeting, Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi, Deans and Registrar of NFSU were present.
