The School of Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, NFSU Gandhinagar, marked another remarkable day on 25th October, 2023, in their journey to raise awareness during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM), with a tabletop exercise. The participants were immersed in a high-tabletop exercise, delving into the complexities of incident response and post-incident management. The scenario presented crucial questions about communication with authorities, the public, and small-scale/private stakeholders during the Cyber incidents. This exercise also emphasized the need for necessary changes to respond to evolving threats and how existing risk assessment policies must adapt to tackle critical cybersecurity incidents. The exercise reinforced the commitment to cybersecurity readiness, emphasizing the significance of effective incident response and management in navigating the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.
