As part of 'Sansad Bharat Darshan’, a 28-member team comprising outstanding and meritorious students from Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency of Himachal Pradesh visited NFSU at Gandhinagar on 30th October 2023. Campus Director, Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare welcomed the students and gave an overview about Forensic Sciences. Air Commodore K.R. Thaakar, Dean of School of Police Science and Security Studies, briefed the team in detail about the various activities of NFSU. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Dr J.M. Vyas, conveyed his blessings to the selected students in their future endeavours. Thereafter, the students visited Centres of Excellence related to the Cyber Security, Ballistics, Forensic Psychology and Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances. It provided them first hand exposure to the wide ranging technologies, and learning opportunities in this unique field. The students also enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at the university. The visit was overseen by Air Commodore Kedar Thaakar and coordinated by the Asst. Professors, Dr. Dhwani Patel, Dr. Pratik Patel and Shri Vishal Parmar.
