Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity, NFSU, Gandhinagar organized a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Meet for “Healthcare industry” on 07th November 2023. The theme of the Meet was “Empowering Healthcare Security: Safeguarding IT Infrastructure Against Cyber Threats” The gathering aimed to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and discussions on the latest trends in healthcare cybersecurity. The event was organized under the visionary leadership of Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU and Chaired by multiple dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar, Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Dean-SCSDF, Dr. Digvijaysinh Rathod, Head-CoE CS, Dr. Parag Rughani, Associate Dean, SCSDF, Dr. Nialy Mistry, Head, CoE-DF and Shri Neeraj Lal (COO, Apollo Hospital), Mr. Saneesh (Head-IT, Apollo Hospital), Mr. Kishor Gojiya (DGM, KD Hospital). COO of Apollo Hospital, Shri Neeraj Lal delivered the keynote address. Dr. Parag Rughani gave an expert talk on “Healthcare Cybersecurity Landscape”. A panel discussion was also there on different challenges faced by the healthcare industry. Vote of thanks given by Mr. Darsh Patel, SSO, Coe-CS, NFSU. The event showed a beautiful collaboration of Industry and Academia and offered a golden opportunity for around 50+ CISOs and IT professionals to connect with each other and discuss about the recent threats to Healthcare cyber space and the mitigation plans for the same.
