The three-day International Conference on “Chemical Safety and Security for Health and Environment” (ICCSSHE-2023) has started on 8th December, 2023 at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar. The theme of this international conference is "Chemical Safety" and "Chemical Security". This international conference was organized by National Forensic Science University (NFSU), Gandhinagar; National Association for Chemical Security (NACS); It is jointly organized by Gujarat University and Ladakh University. Representatives of more than 200 industries and academic institutions are participating in the conference. In the inaugural ceremony of this conference, Padma Shri Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU); Ms. Neelkamal Darbari, IAS (Retd.), Former President-NACWC; Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar and Prof. V.K. Jain, President-NACS were present on the stage. The vote of thanks for this inauguration ceremony was given by Prof. P. Maity, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology and Campus Director-NFSU-Guwahati. During the inauguration ceremony, Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU, Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director-NFSU-Bhopal; Air Commodore Kedar Thakaar, Campus Director-NFSU-Uganda; Deans of various schools, faculty members of NFSU were present.
