National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, an Institution of National Importance has signed Memoranda of Understanding with three UK based companies- Boston Limited, ICyberDefence Limited and Telesoft Technologies in the presence of UK High Commission officials during the Vibrant Gujarat event on 10 January 2024. These companies have overarching presence in the Cybersecurity and emerging technologies domain. In addition to Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, NFSU is focusing on joint research and consultancy in the niche areas of Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, 3-D Printing, Internet of Things and Robotics. NFSU will not only work in the open research areas of these specialised domains but also focus on the much needed innovation and product realisation through collaborative model. Padma Shri, Dr J.M. Vyas, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of NFSU said, “The signing of MoU with the three leading UK companies for cooperation in the domain of Cybersecurity and emerging technologies will help in adopting newer tools and technologies for crime investigations and strengthen the criminal justice delivery system”.
