Narayan Shastri Institute of Technology (NSIT), Jetalpur, Ahmedabad and The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar have joined hands through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on the 29th of February, 2024. This formal agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative journey aimed at enhancing training and research in the nuanced fields of Forensic Biology, Serology, Chemistry, Toxicology, and the examination of questioned documents and fingerprints. In the presence of Padma Shri Awardee, Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, the MoU was inked by Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director of NFSU, Gandhinagar and Dr. Dharmesh Vandra, Vice President, Narayan Shastri Institute of Technology (NSIT) Jetalpur, signifies a leap towards integrating resources and expertise to advance in their respective domains while supporting each other in achieving mutual goals. Both institutions have committed to sharing knowledge and developments in teaching methods, student growth, and research advancements. Through this partnership, NFSU and NSIT aim to organize joint educational programs, workshops, and conferences, fostering a rich exchange of academic materials and publications. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare said that this MoU underscores the wide-ranging institutional support and the collective vision for a future where collaborative effort paves the way for innovative solutions in forensic science and qualitative research.
