A 2-day workshop, "Interpreting DNA: Data to Decision" was organised by the Centre of Excellence in DNA Forensics at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU)-Gandhinagar Campus in technical collaboration with ThermoFisher Scientific on 13-14 June 2024. Prof. Satish Kumar delivered the inaugural address followed by the expertise of Dr. Sanjib Dey and Dr. Amit Gokhle, who delivered captivating presentations unveiling the latest technological advancements in the field of DNA Forensics. Scientific Officers from Forensic Science Laboratories were present from across the nation. Dr. Bhargav Patel, Head of CoE DNA Forensics, illuminated the pivotal role of statistics in DNA data analysis. Dr. Malay Shukla, Coordinator, CoE DNA Forensics, shared his expertise on DNA report writing. Participants visited Centres of Excellences: DNA Forensics, Digital Forensics, and Ballistics, established within the NFSU campus.
