National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, has organized a 2-day workshop on “Crime Scene Management and Forensic Journalism” on 20 and 21 June, 2024. Inauguration Ceremony of the workshop took place on 20th June, 2024. Students of PG Diploma in Forensic Journalism and MA Mass Communication and Forensic Journalism are participating from all over India. During the Inauguration Ceremony, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kaushal J. Thaker, Chairperson, Gujarat State Human Rights Commission; Shri Ajay Umat, Group Editor, Ahmedabad Mirror and Navgujarat Samay; Shri Harit Mehta, Resident Editor, The Times of India; Dr. J.M. Vyas, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of National Forensic Sciences University; Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar and Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Dean-SFS, NFSU were present on the dais. During the workshop, students imparted practical knowledge about Crime Scene Management with the mock crime scene, 3D Mapping Crime Scene Photography and Videography. During the Inauguration Ceremony, Deans, Associate Deans of various schools and faculty members of NFSU and students were present.
