Student Induction-Orientation Programme "DEEKSHARAMBH-2024" was held at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 25th July 2024. Dr. Yanko Kolev, the President of International Association of Forensic Sciences was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr. Yanko Kolev from Bulgaria joined online and addressed the gathering. Padma Shri Awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU delivered the presidential address. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar delivered the welcome address and briefed about NFSU. Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Campus Director, NFSU-Goa; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi; Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director, NFSU-Bhopal and Prof. (Dr.) Asha Srivastav, Dean, SBF-NFSU delivered their speech on this occasion. During the function, NFSU Documentary was showcased to the students. Ms. Sweta Arora, CoE briefed about Internal Complaint Cell; Dr. Akshat Mehta explained Anti-Ragging measures and guidelines whereas Dr. Bhargav Patel gave details about academic ordinances. Deans and Associate Deans of various schools of NFSU, Faculty members, Staff members and students of NFSU were present during the event.
