A Felicitation Ceremony of a faculty member of National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Dr. Bappi Paul, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmacy who received the prestigious "Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar:Vigyan Yuva - Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar" by the President of India for the year 2024 in Environmental Science was held on 29th August, 2024. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU felicitated Dr. Bappi with a memento. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU expressed immense pride in Dr. Bappi’s achievement at the young age of 34, emphasizing its significance for the NFSU family. Dr. Vyas further said in his address that Dr. Bappi Paul’s contributions in the field of Environmental Science are commendable and hard-work and sincerity always pays. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director of NFSU-Gandhinagar said that Dr. Paul has developed a process and catalyst for direct hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to ethanol as a future fuel and also contributed in removal of volatile organic compounds emitted from industries and transportations leading to global air pollution. During the ceremony, Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhriyal, Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi; Prof. (Dr.) Navinkumar Chaudhary, Campus Director, NFSU-Goa including faculty and staff members were present.
