National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar celebrated its 5th Foundation Day with “Swachhata Maha Abhiyan" (Cleanliness Drive) on 1st October, 2024. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU also felicitated “Swachhata Veer” on this special occasion. Students and NSS volunteers and faculty members of NFSU picked up the broom and participated in a cleanliness drive. Everyone has contributed to this cleanliness drive with dignity and respect. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU said that in alignment with the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision for a Swachh Bharat, NFSU remains committed to inspire a culture of accountability and promote cleanliness programme among the students and the public as well. Dr. Vyas further said that NFSU operates 9 campuses in India and one in Uganda, and we have to extend our reach across all continents to strengthen the global criminal justice delivery system. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar said that under the visionary leadership of Padma Shri Awardee, Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU joined the nationwide cleanliness drive with enthusiasm on the special occasion of its Foundation Day. The celebration of foundation day serves to honor the past while also fostering a sense of innovation and encouraging a progressive outlook with Research and Development in the field of Forensic Science and allied subjects. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar; Shri D.P. Chhaya, Advisor-NFSU; Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director, NFSU-Bhopal were present on the dais. Deans, Associate Deans of various schools of NFSU, NSS volunteers and students were present at the function of Foundation Day Celebration.
