The School of Forensic Science at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Gandhinagar proudly hosted its first Alumni Meet-2025, titled ‘Smriti Samvardhanam’, on 31st January 2025. The event saw the presence of students from across the country. Padma Shri Awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU delivered a heartfelt presidential address. He highlighted the happiness of reviving cherished memories and encouraged students to treasure enjoyable moments. Dr J.M. Vyas encouraged the alumni to embrace their role as ambassadors of NFSU and strive for success in all their future endeavours. In his speech, Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar, said the Alumni Meet saw enthusiastic student participation nationwide. It highlighted the strong bond between the university and its alumni, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and lifelong connection. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director of NFSU-Delhi, warmly welcomed the alumni, likening the event to a homecoming. She encouraged them to relish their moments and experiences, emphasising that their reflections and insights will significantly shape the future of new students at the university. Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Dean-SFS and Campus Director of NFSU-Bhopal, delivered the welcome address at the event. The vote of thanks was graciously extended by Dr Ashtha Pandey, who appreciated the contributions and participation of all attendees. The students also shared their feedback, expressing that the brand "NFSU" has been instrumental and beneficial in various aspects of their lives, greatly supporting them in their professional and personal endeavours.
