Shri Anurag Garg, IPS, Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, visited National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 30th April, 2025. Shri Anurag Garg, D.G.-NCB, had an extensive discussion with Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, addressing multiple areas of national interest. Shri Anurag Garg, IPS, DG-NCB, visited all centres of excellence of NFSU and was well impressed by the activities of the world’s first and only forensic sciences university. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director of NFSU-Gandhinagar, briefed him about the various activities of the University, including academic, training, research & development, knowledge sharing and consultancy. He also gave a detailed presentation about the functioning of the National Forensic Sciences University. During the visit, Shri Maneesh Kumar, IRS, DDG-NCB, Western Zone; Shri Ketan B. Patil, Addl.Director, NCB, Ahmedabad Zone; Deans and Associate Deans of various schools of NFSU and senior officials were present.
