Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh visited National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 30th December, 2025. In the august presence of Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon'ble Governor, Uttar Pradesh, three Universities of Uttar Pradesh also signed MoUs with NFSU for capacity building in the field of Forensic Science and allied subjects. The Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh had interaction with Research Scholars and faculty members of NFSU and also had extensive discussions with Padma Shri Awardee, Dr.J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, regarding the present and future role of NFSU in advancements in forensic science. Prof. J.P. Pandey, Vice Chancellor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow; Prof. Samsher, Vice Chancellor, Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur and Prof. Jai Prakash Saini, Vice Chancellor, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMTU), Gorakhpur and Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) signed the MoUs. NFSU showcased its capabilities and contributions, including indigenous products, like the Mobile Forensic Van, Cyber Kiosk, NDPS drug testing kit., etc., which were conceptualized and designed by NFSU. Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh also visited various state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities such as the Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security, the Ballistics Research Centre and Testing Range, the Centre of Excellence in DNA Forensics and the Centre of Excellence in Digital Forensics, Centre of Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Psychology. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director-NFSU-Gandhinagar gave the detailed presentation and briefed about various activities conducted by NFSU. During the visit, Shri Sudhir Bobde, IAS, ACS to Hon’ble Governor of U.P.; Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Campus Director-NFSU-Goa; Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director-NFSU-Bhopal and other senior officers of NFSU were also present.
