School of Behavioural Forensics, National Forensic Sciences University in collaboration with Gender Resource Center, Department of Women & Child Development, GoG has celebrated Forensic Psychology Day on theme “Safe, Healthy and Inclusive Spaces: Gender Sensitization, Nutrition & PoSH Awareness.” on 21st January 2026. The celebration was organized long with Research & Innovation Group for Criminology, Policing and Security University of South Wales under SETU Program of Government of Gujarat. The event had scholarly discussions from experts of spectrum of disciplines to discuss the aspects of PoSH act and current understanding and discussions on gender sensitization in modern society. The event was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) S. O. Junare (Director, Gandhinagar Campus) and graced by Prof. Christian Kaunert, University of South Wales, UK and Ms. Ami Patel, Director, Gender Resource Center, Department of Women & Child Development, GoG. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare (Director, Gandhinagar Campus) has emphasized the inevitable role of psychology in Criminal Justic System. Prof. Christian Kaunert and Prof. (Dr.) Asha Srivastava has reiterated the need of hour to have a robust system to tackle sexual harassment at work place. A beautiful cultural event was organized to spread awareness about PoSH act and gender sensitization as part of event. The event was concluded with Vote of thanks by Dr K. K. Mishra.
