The School of Pharmacy, National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) successfully organized a two-day International Conference on “Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences with Forensic Perspectives (Pharmaforensics: Innovation to Entrepreneurship)” during 5th and 6th February 2026 at the NFSU campus, Gandhinagar. Under the guidance of PadmaShri Awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, the international conferenced concluded successfully. During the inauguration ceremony, Shri Vipul Doshi, CQCO, Zydus Lifesciences Limited, Dr. H.G. Koshia, Former Commissioner, Food and Drugs Control Administration (FDCA), Gujarat, Padma Shri awardee Dr. G.D. Yadav, Ex V.C.-ICT-Mumbai, Prof.Jan K.L. University-Belgium, and Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar highlighted the need for strong regulatory oversight, quality assurance, and forensic approaches to safeguard public health and strengthen the pharmaceutical ecosystem. He further said that the conference drew over 7,00 delegates from United Kingdom, Belgium, Thailand and India; also received more than 300 poster abstracts.
