The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar successfully hosted a two-day 'Inter-Campus Hindi Competition', celebrating the spirit of India’s official language. The prize distribution and closing ceremony took place on Tuesday in the presence of distinguished dignitaries. On the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar; Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Choudhary, Campus Director, NFSU-Goa; Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director, NFSU-Bhopal; and Shri V.K. Pandey, Official Language Officer, NFSU were present on the dais. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director of NFSU-Gandhinagar, in his address highlighted that under the visionary guidance of 'Padma Shri' Awardee and Vice Chancellor of NFSU, Dr. J.M. Vyas, the university organized the “Inter-Campus Hindi Competition” to promote the use and enrichment of Rajbhasha-Hindi. He emphasized that students from NFSU campuses across seven states participated with great enthusiasm, reflecting the growing commitment towards Hindi as a unifying language. Prof. Junare appreciated the commendable initiatives of the Rajbhasha-Hindi Department at NFSU-Gandhinagar, which has been consistently working to strengthen the presence of Hindi in academic and cultural spheres. He further remarked that Hindi, as the Rajbhasha, plays a pivotal role in nurturing India’s cherished ideal of “Unity in Diversity,” serving as a bridge that connects people across regions and cultures. The competition featured a diverse range of events including debate, essay writing, and original poetry recitation, showcasing the creativity and eloquence of participating students. Winners who delivered outstanding performances across these categories were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates in recognition of their excellence. The ceremony concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Campus Director, NFSU-Bhopal, who acknowledged the collective efforts that made the event a resounding success.
