As part of the study-cum cultural tour, 13 Trainee IPS officers led by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, IPS, visited NFSU on May 15. The visit mainly focused on the growing integration of forensic science, cyber security, and advanced research in modern criminal investigation and national security mechanisms. On behalf of Prof. S. O. Junare, Campus Director, a presentation was made by Prof. Akshat Mehta, Dean, School of Police Science and Security Studies (SPSSS) on University’s recent & major Milestones highlighting the institution’s state-of-the-art facilities, multidisciplinary research ecosystem, and operational contributions in the field of forensic investigation. The NFSU team showcased the institution’s commitment towards scientific innovation, capacity building, and technology-enabled policing practices. The delegation visited Centres of Excellence in Investigative & Forensic Psychology; Cyber Security; NDPS; Ballistics; and Digital Forensics. The trainee officers lauded the synergy between Law Enforcement and NFSU under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. J. M. Vyas. The visiting Officers were impressed with the University’s facilities and its contribution to achieve robust security and justice delivery for the Nation.
