National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar celebrated 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY-2026) on 21st June, 2026. Students, Faculty Members and Staff participated in various Yogasana and Pranayama. Under the guidance of Padma Shri Awardee, Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor of NFSU observed this International Event with Yoga Protocol under the supervision of Yoga Expert, Dr. Anal Raval. Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar, highlighted that the university proudly celebrates the International Day of Yoga (IDY) every year, reinforcing its commitment to holistic wellness. He further stated “The International Day of Yoga (IDY) is celebrated globally on 21st June each year, following its adoption by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2014, based on the proposal of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. The year 2026 marks the 12th International Day of Yoga, reaffirming India’s leadership in promoting Yoga as a holistic approach to health and well-being.” On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Campus Director, NFSU-Goa; Deans and Associate Deans of the various schools, staff and students of NFSU were present.
