National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) celebrated 76th Independence Day on 15th August, 2022 in a big way. Dr. J. M. Vyas, the Vice-Chancellor hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of Independence Day at Gandhinagar Campus. Dr. J. M. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor, NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director-NFSU, and Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU planted trees to mark the occasion of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”. This was followed by a cultural programme in the NFSU Auditorium. It began with excerpts from the address to the nation on the Independence Day by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi was projected on the occasion. A colorful cultural programme was presented by talented students and faculty members. Dr. J.M. Vyas paid homage to the freedom fighters and martyrs. The Vice-Chancellor also congratulated the university staff for participating in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor of NFSU and Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal distributed the prizes to the winners of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" events. NFSU celebrated "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" by organizing various activities such as Patriotic Drawing Competition, Photography Competition, Patriotic Elocution, Patriotic Poetry, Singing, Patriotic Fashion Show, and Patriotic Skit as well as various social welfare activities such as donation of 75 Units of Blood, 75 Tree Plantation and Freedom Run with 75 Freedom Runners.
