Student Induction-Orientation Programme "DEEKSHARAMBH-2026" was held at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 6th August, 2026. Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal (Retd.), Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, was the Chief Guest of function. Notably, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal (Retd.), Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, has been appointed as Emeritus Professor at the National Forensic Sciences University. This distinguished appointment, conferred by Padma Shri Awardee Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, reflects the University’s commitment to integrating judicial wisdom with academic excellence. ‘Forensic Justice Bulletin’ was released by Chief Guest. Hon’ble Dr. Justice K.J. Thaker, Hon’ble Chairperson-Gujarat State Human Rights Commission; Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar; Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Campus Director, NFSU-Goa also present on the dais and delivered their speech on this occasion. During the function, Deans and Associate Deans of various schools of NFSU, Faculty members, Staff members and students of NFSU were present during the event.
