Delegation from Sri Lanka led by H.E. Milinda Moragoda, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka and delegation from Karnataka led by Shri Arga Janendra, Hon'ble Home Minister of Karnataka, visited NFSU on 12th January 2023. They met Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, and discussed various topics of Forensic Science & allied subjects with possible collaboration. The other officials who accompanied were Mr. Niluka Kadurugamuwa, Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Mr. Gamini Sarath Godakanda, Minister Councellor, Dr. Rajneesh Goel IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Shri. R. Hitendra IPS, Additional Director General of Police (Crime) and Shri. S.P. Ravi Shankar, Consultant to Hon'ble Home Minister. H.E. Milinda Moragoda, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, and Shri Arga Janendra, Hon'ble Home Minister of Karnataka, visited state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities at NFSU, such as the Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security, Centre of Excellence in Investigative & Forensic Psychology; Centre of Excellence in Narcotics Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS); Centre of Happiness & Well-Being and Ballistics Research Centre and Testing Range. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU; Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar, NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary, Dean, School of Cyber Security & Digital Forensics; Air Commodore K.R. Thaakar, Dean, School of Police Sciences & Security Studies; Prof. Manjunath Ghate, Dean, School of Pharmacy; Prof. Satish Kumar, Dean, School of Forensic Science, Dr. Abraham Johnson, Coordinator for Centre for International Relations and other faculties of various Schools of NFSU were present during the visit.
