A two-day training programme on "Rapid DNA Technology" commenced at National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar on 27th July, 2022. IPS officers are participating in this program. Dr. J.M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU greeted them for their future endeavors. This training programme is organized by NFSU-Thermo Fisher Scientific Centre of Excellence for DNA Forensics. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU briefed them on various activities of the National Forensic Sciences University and its capabilities including academic, training, research & development, and consultancy. Shri R.N. Guna, Dy. Director (Training), NFSU; Dr. Bhargav Patel, Sr. Assistant Professor, NFSU; Dr. Atima Agarwal, and Dr. Amit Gokhale From Thermo Fisher Scientific were also present during the session.
